Hi, I'm Katy and welcome to my website!

I'm a mixed media artist and metalsmith, creating everything by hand from my little home studio, called the 'Cider Tree Copper Works' based in Cheshire. 

​

I make nature themed sculpture and jewellery from copper, brass and sterling silver, often combining all three metals, allowing the different colours to contrast and compliment each other. 

 

I'm inspired by the British landscape and have a fascination for its rich tapestry of traditions and folklore. Birds and wildlife  feature heavily throughout my designs, symbolising a freedom and connection to an older less complicated way of life.
