Time for a New Spring Exhibition! Journeys Through Colour

'Journeys Through Colour' will open at The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright between 5th March – 23rd April 2022.

This Spring I will be showcasing a range of my jewellery in a new exhibition that brings together an eclectic mix of designer makers at the lovely Whitehouse Gallery in Scotland. As a mixed metal artist, I'm always drawn to the colour combinations that using copper, brass and sterling silver together can create but the pursuit of colourful jewellery is never plain sailing. I describe my process as collaging and layering and this involves a sizeable amount of juggling properties and melting points of different metals and solders. With the occasional and unintentional reticulation involved its not far off modern day alchemy!
